ABOUT THE PHYSICIAN
Dr. Sunkureddi completed his Rheumatology Fellowship in June 2006 at UTMB — Galveston; where he also completed a residency in Internal Medicine. He received his medical degree with distinction from St. George's University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Baylor University, Waco, Texas.
Dr. Sunkureddi is board certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. He has received many awards and national recognition, including The 2006 Distinguished Fellow Award from the American College of Rheumatology and the 2006 McLaughlin Travel Award at UTMB. He is currently conducting clinical trials, has presented research at national meetings and has published numerous papers in medical journals.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Sunkureddi is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at UTMB-Galveston, where he is actively involved in the Rheumatology Fellowship program. Dr. Sunkureddi is also involved with the
Arthritis Foundation
and participates in public education and awareness and supports fund-raising activities of the organization. |
